I wrote my first book (a romance) at sixty years old, mostly because I was mad that I couldn't find books where older female characters were the stars of the story. 

(And I work in a library!)

So, I'm cataloging these kinds of books and writers here.

But I can't do it on my own.

Do you have a suggestion for a great book that is centered around female characters who are over forty and falling in love? I'd love to hear about it!

 

Before sending your suggestion make sure:

1.) The main female character is 40 or over, and 2.) The main story of the book is a romance, and there is a Happy Ever After ending.

Also, what genre of romance is the book?

(And if you have the age of the female character, drop that info in too!)
